Villa San Rafael is a substantial (350 square metres) country house set in large gardens of one-third of an acre near to the mediaeval town of Xativa, 40 minutes drive inland of the coast at Gandia.

The orange coast of Costa de Azahar runs from the mouth of the river Ebro and through to the city of Valencia. Somewhat quieter and maybe lesser known the other neighbouring Costa’s, this area is full of contrasts. There are some excellent beaches that are generally not overcrowded, making it ideal for families looking to escape from it all.
Being in the Valencia province, it’s hardly surprising to learn that region is full of orange groves. Away from the coast the region is quite mountainous, the landscape has a rugged feel to it and is sprawling with fauna and flora.
