“Although it is set in an area of holiday rentals, the setting of this bungalow felt residential and made for a lovely safe relaxing location. Within 5-10 minutes walk there were bars and restaurants and the beach (albeit down 167 steps!) was nearby. We did discover that we were also permitted full access to all facilities and entertainment at the nearby Aguamarina Hotel, which includes a lift that when you select floor -1 reduces the steps to the beach to about 15!!

The bungalow itself was compact but well laid out and we arrived to find everything clean and spotless. The bedrooms were basic but each offered decent sized wardrobes with hangers and a shelf. The lounge had a 3-piece suite, pine dresser, coffee table and dining table/chairs, but best of all double doors opening on to a lovely private veranda. The veranda was great because it was L-shaped allowing us to put the laundry on one side and not have to look at it whilst relaxing out there. It also had a 6 seater table and a parasol provided. The BBQ, albeit small was also a nice alternative for an evening's dining and we found a full set of BBQ utensils behind the kitchen door too!! The kitchen was small and certainly not for more than one person cooking, etc. but the fridge-freezer (with cool blocks for picnics) was great and it was lovely to have a full-sized cooker and not be looking for utensils.

The best part of this accommodation was the exceptional service provided by the owner which included a very comprehensive information pack, directions for places we wanted to visit and responses to queries within 24 hours everytime.”

“Our holiday in Menorca, Villa Ses Casetas, was a very carefree holiday with everything running smoothly, from the flights from Manchester, pick up at the airport using Menorcavillas.com taxi service. Although the villa was in a perfect position overlooking the pool (which was very quiet with plenty of sunbeds FREE) and only a short walk to shops and a beautiful beach, the inside of the villa was a little disappointing. Very small kitchen and basic lounge. No TV or DVD for the kids and dads.

Saying this we had a very large balcony with tables and chairs. Don't let interior of the villa put you off has you do not spend that much time inside. There are plenty of restaurants which are quite reasonable in price with our favourite being the one on the beach. Bus prices into Mahon was around 2 to 3 euros, not bad.

The weather was very hot and we probably picked a good two weeks to vacate England and the terrible rain storms. All in all we had a very relaxing, laidback hols in a lovely part of Menorca.”
