The apartment is located in Barcelona city centre in a very safe area. The area is teaming with cultural and social activities. Contains the highest concentration of modernist architecture in the world. Virtually every street displays an example of its powerful influence.
The apartment has capacity for up to 5 people. All is new and furnished. It has 2 bedrooms, one single room and one double room, 1 bathroom with hairdryer. Living room with LCD TV 32", DVD player and a large comfortable sofa bed. Air conditioning / heat. Equipped kitchen with toaster, coffee maker, oven, microwave, kettle, washing machine, refrigerator and kitchen utensils.
Linen and towels provided available. The apartment is quiet and bright. The building has a lift. In front of the apartment there are a two parking spaces. Wi-fi internet access.
It is the perfect location for families with children.

Known to many as Spain's second city, Barcelona is the capital of the Catalan nation. One of the great aspects about this city is choice. Whether it's choosing somewhere to eat, boutiques to shops in, or what building to admire first, the list is endless. Another winning point for visitors to Barcelona is it's a city with beaches. So you can alternate your days between sightseeing and some essential sunbathing. There are more than 4km of golden, sandy shores that are packed with activities and palm trees.
For those wanting to visit as many sights as possible, it may be advisable to buy a guidebook beforehand and plan an agenda. If you want to visit some museums, the first Sunday of the month is a good time to visit as the museums run by the City Council have free entry. These include the City History, the Ceramics and Textile and the Picasso Museums.
At only 200 meters of the apartment you can find Rambla de Cataluña, it is one of the streets with the most glamour of the city, which includes cafes, terraces, restaurantes, cinemas, and the highest class, shops in Barcelona. Next to Rambla de Cataluña it is Passeig de Gracia street, this could be considered as the Champs Elysee of Barcelona.
Just in this street you can find the international and famous Casa Millá ( knowledge as La Pedrera) by Gaudí. To walk down Passeig de Gràcia is to visit Catalan modernism, from its benches to its street lamp, and almost all of its buildings. It is all a good example of Catalan-modernist architecture.
Just down Rambla de Cataluña (at only 5 minutes walking ) you will find Plaza Cataluña. This is the nerve centre par excellence of Barcelona.
Next to Plaza de Cataluña it is Ramblas this is undoubtedly the most cosmopolitan street of Barcelona.Strolling down the Rambla, on your right is the Barri del Raval. Just in your left is the Barri Gotic.
Once in the Barri Gòtic, the best thing to do is to wander round the small streets, exploring them for yourself (Don`t miss la Cathedral, Calle del Bisbe, Pl. de San Felip Neri, Sant Maria del Mar, Museu Picasso, Museu d'Art Contemporani, Palau Güell, Pl. Sant Jaume, Palau de la Generalitat)
You can go also walking by metro or by bus at Zoo, Aquarium, mare maremagnun, barceloneta beach or other interesting places in Barcelona.

“This fantastic apartment is located in the much desired Eixample district. We stayed here for 8 nights with our 2 small children. The apartment is very convenient for public transportation and within walking distance of many of the main tourists attractions. There are tons of restaurants, markets and supermarkets nearby. We found the owner, Diana, to be extremely helpful; providing maps and information prior to our arrival and then available for questions during our stay. We found this added to our comfort and enjoyment of Barcelona. We would highly recommend this apartment.”

“The appartement was situated in av very nice part of the city. Short way to trains and then to the metro. Nice retaurants and shops nearby. The appartement was nice and very clean. But the airconditioning was not strong enough to cool off the bed-rooms as well as the livingroom, even though we kept the doors fully open. We would not have survived the heat without the fan in the double-bedroom. It helped a bit, at least. And another wish would be for a softer bed/madrasses in the double bed room. Bad backs for the two grown-ups...The elevator/lift was old and not totally reliable. That's a bit bad when the appartement is on the 7'th floor.”
