The accommodation is situated approximately 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport in the fabulous harbour location of Puerto Calero. Puerto Calero is probably the best quality location on the island of Lanzarote.
Villa 66, Marina Azul is within a luxurious development of 103 luxury duplex apartments consisting of 2 bedrooms with a double bed in the upstairs room and 2 singles in the downstairs room. The upstairs bedroom has fitted mirror wardrobes. There are 2 bathrooms with the upstairs one consisting of bath, shower, wc, hand basin and bidet. The downstairs bathroom also has a shower, hand basin and wc.
Outside there is a private sun terrace/balcony with 4 sunbeds and beautiful panoramic views.
There is a large lounge with TV/video, CD-player, 2 settees and 2 fold away beds. The kitchen contains a fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, kettle, toaster, a table with chairs and all the usual utensils. Leading from the kitchen there is an outside patio/drying, garden area with a washing machine and a table with chairs.
The complex has a large communal pool and childrens pool surrounded by sunbeds. A recent addition is a small childrens playground.
We do provide a welcome pack on arrival which includes water, millk, tea and coffee for your use.

A minimum deposit of 20% or £30 per person if more than 2 occupants must accompany your fully completed booking form.
The balance is due, without reminder, 8 weeks before departure. If this is not paid in good time I reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and withold all deposits paid.
All cancellations or alterations must be made in writing. If you cancel you are liable for the following cancellation charges dependant on the number of days before departure on which written notification is received.

Bookings are accepted on the understanding that tenants are responsible for any losses or damages to the villa caused by them or their guests during the stay.
The villa is let on the basis of you accepting responsibility for any accidents, injury or loss at your own risk.

The marina of Puerto Calero was opened in 1990 and was the brainchild of José Calero. It now has no lack of yachts and boats and it's become one of the nicest places on the island with many new boutiques and restaurants to enjoy. The marina is also the starting point for a range of activities including submarine safaris, shark fishing and cruises.
If you enjoy tapas, the restaurant Taberna del Puerto comes highly recommended. Their Canarian potatoes, garlic mushrooms and stuffed peppers are well complimented with the local mojo sauce.
The harbour with its many boats and yachts is very impressive. There are shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, chandlers and even a clinic for everyone’s use.
Puerto Calero is the ideal location to avoid the hustle and bustle of many resorts. Excellent water skiing, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, boat/submarine trips and an 18 hole golf course are easily accessible. Visits to fire mountain, caves of both Jameos del Agua and Ceuva de los Verdes, the "green lake of El Golfo",the imaginative cactus gardens and the pretty inland villages of Yaiza and Haria are some of the sights recommended. Puerto del Carmen is only 2 km away with taxis and a bus service available.
After spending many happy holidays in Lanzarote we decided to purchase our holiday home in 2002. We searched the island for the right type of property and location. As soon as we found Puerto Calero we fell in love with it and visit on a regular basis throughout the year.

“Superb location with vast sea views. Lovely surroundings with small walks to a wide range of shops and restaurants. Beautiful walk along the harbour where anyone would be happy to sit and watch the various yachts and boats arrive and depart.
The house has everything to accomadate your needs for a very enjoyable stay, with a luxurious communal pool.
I would highly reccomend this property to anyone and will be visiting 66 Marina Azul again in the very near future.”
