Villa Mateo is privately owned and maintained with a private electrically heated pool in its own walled grounds.
The villa has a lounge, kitchen, spacious bathroom and large master bedroom with ample wardrobe space. Below are details of the facilities provided in the villa.
Situated on El Parque del Rey, Villa Mateo is a 10 minute walk to the harbour and just a further 5 minutes to the main shopping street with three supermarkets.
Maid service is once per week with an additional towel change mid week. Poolside towels are included as well as bathroom towels.
A complimentary welcome pack is provided of tea/coffee, mineral water and a bottle of wine.

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
Close by is the beautiful Playa Flamingo beach with Playa Dorada a short ride away.
Enjoy shopping and a meal at the fabulous new Marina Rubicon. Try snorkelling and sheltered swimming in the natural harbours of the Papagayo National Reserve.
While car hire is not essential we would recommend that you consider hiring a car to take advantage of all the Island has to offer.

“We stayed at Villa Mateo in April, the weather was lovely and hot, only one overcast half day, which was still very warm. The villa was lovely, very well equipped and comfortable with everything needed for an easy holiday. The welcome pack was a nice touch, it was convenient to have a washing machine, and wonderful to have a lovely warm pool literally just outside the door!! Comfy outdoor seating area and a lovely choice of books to read, we left some of ours to add to the collection!! Great location, quiet and peaceful, yet such a short distance from the town with a good choice of eateries (Pedro's especially good), and a nice clean beach. A great place to stay, thoroughly recommended, we would definitely like to return next year. Andrew a very helpful owner, so glad we chose Villa Mateo. We were there when the volcanic ash cloud was hovering, hoped to get an extra week, but it cleared in time for us to travel home, what a shame!!!”

“Just got back from an amazing week staying in this villa, It is beautiful, modern and comfortable. It has everything you could want for a holiday, the pool is lovely with a surprisingly deep end - good for swimming, and a shallow end. It is in a great location with a spar, a lot of local market shops and a beach within 5-10 minutes.
Definitely recommend and we, a young couple, would go back tomorrow if we could!”

“The apartment was very very nice, clean, lovely neighbourhood. short distance from the beach. there was everything in the house you would need, i liked the big b&q the most. was there with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed it!! If we ever come back to lanzarote , we rent it again, high recommended!!!!”

Andrew was mst helpful and was only a phone call away had we needed him. The villa is well equipped, everything you need for a holiday. Having its own private pool was a bonus. Would definately go again.”
