About the property

Tenerife has long been a magnet for those seeking all year round sunshine. Our apartment is ideally situated for those looking for a relaxing holiday. It is within easy walking distance of fantastic beaches excellent shopping complexes and exotic night life.

Formerly an apart/hotel Ocean Azahara Playa is now a private complex, yet retains its excellent pool and lift facilities. It is suitable for those wanting easy pedestrian access to Playa Las Vistas beach (150 metres away), old Los Cristianos and the glamorous shopping centres and nightlife of Playa de las Americas. There is a lift to the street and also a lift to all floors of the complex. The apartment has a south facing terrace which catches the sun all day and boasts excellent sea, mountain and pool views (see picture below). The nearby Mencey Centre at 50 metres contains many shops including a bar and supermarket.

Los Cristianos is a very popular area for families as it still retains it's fishing port character. The beaches have been created with break waters and golden sand, which has been imported from the Sahara (probably the reason for the name of this apartment complex). This means that these beaches are much safer for children.

It is also well worth a visit to the nearby AquaPark, which is just 5 minutes away. There are dolphin shows, a dolphin lake, children's area and the most amazing assortment of water rides and slides, pools, sun bed areas and restaurants, shops and snack bars.

The apartment consists of a bedroom with 2 single beds and a sofabed in the lounge. There is also a TV and DVD player available for guests use and a separate fully equipped kitchen, which includes a 2-ring hob, microwave with grill and toaster. There is an iron, ironing board and hair dryer available for guests to use, as well as a security safe. The apartment is on the top floor and enjoys spectacular views of the ocean.

About Los Cristianos, Tenerife

A popular destination since the 1960's, Los Cristianos still holds onto a small amount of its local identity, with restaurants and bars are aplenty. Quieter than other areas, the main focal point is around the harbour where you can escape to La Gomera by ferry or hydrofoil.

Flight deals to Los Cristianos are available from the UK, with many airlines flying several times a week. The mild climate on Tenerife means a holiday in Los Cristianos can be taken all year round.

Many of the Los Cristianos holiday apartments are ideal for families, several of the complexes have separate kiddies pools and beaches are closeby for the sunworshippers amongst you.
