About the property

Terraced house on the popular urbanisation of Punta Lara, situated 1km from the centre of Nerja.

The houses here are what I would call upside down houses, bedrooms on the ground floor and the living space on the first floor, but this is to give maximum coverage to the views. There is street parking outside the house, car hire would be recommended but it's not necessary there is a local bus service from a nearby Hotel.

You enter the house on the bedroom level, there are two twin bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans. Between the rooms there is a shower room, comprising toilet, washbasin and shower.

On the next floor there is a nice sized lounge with dining area, good furniture, a television, a gas heater for colder weather and french doors to a small balcony area, equipped with table and chairs. Also leading off the terrace is a wrought iron spiral staircase leading to the roof terrace, which is also equipped with table, chairs and sun beds. This area has panoramic views to the sea, the mountains and the town of Nerja.

Just off the lounge is a fitted kitchen with modern facilities. Also just at the top of the stairs is another shower room, modernised, fully tiled, washbasin in a vanity unit and toilet. The community has a large swimming pool and garden area.

About Nerja, Costa del Sol

Another popular resort on the Costa del Sol, Nerja is situated to the east of Malaga. The fantastic beach with its golden sand is a huge bonus, and over the years this old fishing town has transformed into a lively holiday destination. You can visit the nearby caves that are a few kilometres outside the town, or see the famous “Balcon de Europa” in the historical part of the town.

As is common on the Costa del Sol, outside living is big. If you want to eat out every night, you can. There are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants offering both traditional and international cuisine. What better way to walk a meal off than by wandering round the narrow parts of the old town and imagining how it used to look years ago.
