About the property

Villa Maria is set in its own beautifully landscaped grounds with uninterrupted views of the mountains. The large heated swimming pool which is completely private enjoys all day sunshine. The inside is spacious and cool and is decorated to an exceptionally high standard throughout. The Villa design revolves around the outside terrace with 4 patio doors ensuring a wonderful airy feel to the whole villa. Even the master bedroom has direct access onto the terrace with both pool and mountain views. The terrace like the pool has all day sunshine if this should suit but also has a covered area that ensures there is sufficient shade to both dine and relax during the hotter parts of the day, of which there are plenty. The barbecue area ensures that alfresco dining is a must. Fuerteventura offers a wide range of activities and water sports all within easy reach and Villa Maria offers the perfect alternative with stunning mountain views and relaxed feel, great to unwind.

La Oliva is a rustic town nesstled in amongst some spectacular mountain ranges. The villa whilst being very peacfull is centrally located with plenty of quaint rural bars and restaurants on hand locally, yet also being only 10 mins from the unspoilt lagoon beaches of El Cotillo and 15 mins from lively Corralejo with its many bars, restaurants and not forgetting the several miles of sand dune beaches. There is a golf course near to Calleta and a multitude of choice when it comes to water sport or even sun bathing if thats your prferance.

The Villa has a fully fitted modern kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine in the adjacent utility area. There is a spacious sitting/dining room with UK TV channels available, DVD/ CD theatre system where patio doors open up to outside terrace. The master bedroom has kingsize bed facing the patio doors. There are 2 further twin bedded rooms, 1 of which has an en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms have a range of fitted wardrobes. There is also a separate family bathroom.

About La Oliva, Fuerteventura

This small town was once the capital of the island and home to several island officials and wealthy landowners. One can splendour at the sight of some of the old properties, including the Colonel’s House (Casa de los Coroneles), which have survived many hundreds of years. Close by is a Modern Arts Centre, showcasing some of the islands creative history, plus the Casa de la Cilla which is a small museum which was once a old granary.

Owner's Tips...

Golf course 30 minutes, water park, bowling alley, bars, discos and restaurants in nearby Corralejo, 10 minutes.

Plenty of highly recommended restaurants including Rural Hotel in Villa Verde, 5 mins. La Oliva has supermarkets, post office, chemist and excellent bakery.

In just 1 hour you can be in Lanzarote by taking the ferry from Corralejo or in half that time you can go to the island of Los Lobos which is completely unspoilt and great for swmming and skorkelling, or just relaxing on the beach.
