About the property

With 2 double bedrooms, with ceiling fans and fitted wardrobes, one with a key safe, the apartment is ideal for friends and family of all ages with plenty to do in the surrounding area.

The apartment is just a 10 minute walk from the beach, on the island of Menorca, referred to as the jewel of the Balearic Islands and consists of the following:

Fitted kitchen with hob, oven, fridge freezer, kettle, juicer, coffee percolator, crockery, utensils, cutlery, iron and board.

Complete bathroom.

Lounge/dining room with sofabed, TV, DVD/CD player, dining room table and chairs. Sheltered private terrace with table and chairs.

Entrance to the apartment is gained via a spacious private terrace with wonderful views of the gardens and grounds, complete with patio furniture to enable you to relax whilst the children play or dine al fresco. The enclosed complex benefits from a large communal pool with a shallow end and a separate paddling pool and playground perfect for the younger children.

Large sun terrace and umbrella shades set within landscaped gardens and the onsite poolside bar offers snacks, drinks, TV and internet access. (Some services at peak season only so please check with us to avoid disappointment).

Also within walking distance are basketball courts, football pitch, tennis courts, fun house, go-carting, skateboarding course, waterslides and more entertainment than you can choose from.

Peaceful and quiet but only a few minutes walk from all amenities, including supermarkets, bars, restaurants, activities and entertainment with the added bonus of parking right outside the entrance.

Please be aware that the pool is not monitored by a lifeguard and parents/guardians must supervise children at all times.

Please ask if you require a cot and highchair. We provide linen and towels and these will be changed every 7 nights for multi week lets. Please however, bring your own towels for use on the beach and at the poolside.

About Cala en Porter, Menorca

This was one of Menorca's first beach resorts that, over years has developed into a popular area for holidaymakers to the island. Located just 15km from the airport on the South coast of the island, the beautiful wide sandy beach leads down to crystal clear waters making it ideal for snorkelling. Pedaloes are available for hire and the beach is very safe for children. The beach is protected by large surrounding cliffs, making it a suntrap at midday; so take plenty of sun lotion!

The town itself has a good selection of shops and restaurants, however if you fancy popping into Mahon, there is a good bus service available.

The sights of Caves of Xoroi are close to Cala en Porter, these magnificent caves are situated on the cliff edge and offer stunning views by day, then it's all change in the evenings when it turns into a popular nightclub.

Owner's Tips...

Cala en Porter is a beach resort on the south coast of Menorca and is a popular holiday destination for families, couples and groups of all ages. The apartment is less than a 10 minute stroll to the beach and located in a central but quiet part of the town near to the bars, restaurants and entertainment. Also ideally situated around the corner from supermarkets, chemist, doctors hairdressers and car hire so everything you need is on hand.

The sand at the amazing bay gently slopes into the sea making it perfect for young children to paddle and play. Pedalos and sun beds are available for hire and there are bars and restaurants right on the beach so you never need to go far for refreshments.

The town offers a wide variety of entertainment including karaoke, cabaret and go-carting for the children so there is something for everyone. Whatever you are looking for in your holiday, Cala en Porter is the place to find it.
