About the property

This self contained private villa is situated in a fenced and gated private property nestled in the olives groves of the Velez Blanco valley in the Sierra Maria National Park. Overlooked by spectacular mountains and the traditional white washed village of Velez Blanco with numerous typical Spanish tapas bars and a choice of restaurants and local market every Wednesday all dominated by the beautifully restored 15th century castle and sitting along side the world heritage site of cave paintings including the now famous Indaloo man.

The villa is just 50 minutes drive from the beautiful coast of south eastern Spain.

A truely beautiful tranquil place in which to unwind in. With it stunning scenery and labyrinth of caminoes (country lanes) the area is ideal for horse riding, walking and hiking, with trailed walks over the mountains from the near-by village of Maria.

The accommodation comprises of an open plan large comfortable lounge with TV and fully fitted kitchen/diner. There are two double bedded bedrooms both large with shower en-suites. Pool towels and a welcome pack included.

Owner's Tips...

Those arriving late July and early August, this is the main fiesta season for Villa Blanco and Villas Rubio plus the surrounding villages, as well as the sardine festival in Cherivil. Well worth seeing!
