About the property

Casa Jacaranda is a detached villa with private pool set in mature gardens with orange and lemon trees. The villa is on a hillside overlooking Salobreña with unrivalled views to the Mediterranean, the old town with its Moorish castle, floodlit at night, and the surrounding hills.

The upper part of the villa is used as an occasional holiday home by the owner. The lower part is totally self contained and has its own private entrance. The pool and terraces are for the exclusive use of holiday guests. There is a large terrace above the pool for outdoor dining and a separate sun terrace with loungers which enjoys the sun throughout the day. A separate undercover bar area has barbeque, table and chairs and dartboard.

The property has a number of steps and may not be ideal for toddlers or anyone with walking difficulties and a car is recommended to fully enjoy the area. There is some traffic noise from the coast road which varies during the time of day.

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and are based on 4 people sharing.

About Salobreña, Costa Tropical

Situated on top of a hill by the sea with an imposing castle that is surrounding by fields of sugar cane. The town is a picture of beauty with it’s whitewashed buildings that dominate the hillside. Due to the good weather, social events are normally held outside, it’s not uncommon to see live music and shows at night, at the castle.

The main part of the town has modernised over the years due to the increase in tourism, so they’re plenty of place to eat and drink. For sports lovers the list is endless, however there is a new artificial reef under the waters to protect the marine life, so this may the ideal place to take snorkelling lessons.

Owner's Tips...

Salobreña is set in the heart of the Costa Tropical, a still very Spanish area where free tapas is still served with every drink.

The wonderful city of Granada and the Alhambra Palace is less than an hour away as are The Alpujarras with the timeless white villages. Nerja and the caves are an easy 30 minute drive and well worth the visit. The other coastal towns of Almuñecar and La Herradura provide further places of interest. There are a number of golf courses in the area with the nearest Los Moriscos at Motril being only 10 minutes away. There are any number of restaurants and bars within a few minutes drive, and the fish is always fresh.

Restrictions:

Smokers are welcome but would appreciate no smoking inside the villa.
