About the property

This spacious two bedroom apartment offers an excellent get away. Situated on the edge of the village, near to the surfers beach and the sandy lagoons.

El Cotillo is a quiet picturesque fishing village with a good selection of restaurants and bars.

Ideal for those wanting a truly relaxing break in a stunning location. El Cotillo is a perfect base for lazy days on the stunning lagoon beaches, or for taking advantage of the many other activities the area has to offer.

The apartment has its own individual large sun terrace which is perfect for dining alfresco and sunbathing with a glass of sangria and a good book.

Furnished to a high standard and is fully equipped for 4 people. A welcome pack of tea, coffee , milk & water is supplied for your on arrival.

20 minutes drive from Corralejo or catch a bus minutes from the apartment and 40 minutes drive from the Capital Perto De Rosario which offers fantacstic shopping.

Have a game of Golf at the championship golf course in Catea De fuste or cool down in the waterpark in Corralejo

Midweek clean can be arranged at an extra cost if required. Towels provided for apartment but not the beach towels. If you want to hire beach towels this can be arranged.

Change over day departure/arrival times are flexible dependant on next booking.

If arrival/departure day is on a Sunday this will incur an extra charge

About El Cotillo, Fuerteventura

Still one of the unspoilt villages on the north-western part of the island, major development and tourism has remained at bay. As well as beautiful beaches, this village is known for its fort, Fortaleza del Tostón, which was built in 1797. Looking slightly odd now, isolated on the cliff tops. El Cotillo is a traditional Canarian village that doesn’t have all night bars and restaurants, so if it’s a quiet break away you’re looking for, you’ve just discovered the right place to escape too.

Owner's Tips...

Direct flights from most major European airports. Flight time 2 - 5 hours. Most charter airlines fly here, and scheduled flights from UK via Madrid. Budget airline EasyJet now fly from the UK and Madrid. Thomas cook and First choice also fly here with some saturday flights.

Although not essential car hire is recommended. It's good value, the roads are very quiet and there are lots of stunning scenery and many interesting places to visit. We can recommend a good hire car firm.

Arrival and departure day and times are flexible depending on other bookings.

Airport pick up and drop off can be arranged if required.

Local tourist information available at El Toston Tower near the new harbour. Cash point & Internet nearby. Mountain bikes, surfboards, snorkels etc can be hired locally. Fuerteventura Golf Club is approx 45 mins away.

“Home from home property, the owners have thought of every little detail. Apartment is kitted out with the best quality beds and furniture. A normal cooker allows you to, keep costs down by eating in, especially with the convenience of a good size supermarket just over the road. Sandy and Andy are so friendly and couldn't help enough. We so appreciated their little guided tour of El Cottillo, upon arrival and tips on the best places to eat. Within easy walking distance of the beautiful beaches and lagoons, this apartment is just the perfect base for a peaceful, relaxing, beach holiday of the highest quality.”

“The accommodation is very comprehensive-everything we needed was there. The environment was very pleasant and relaxed and it is only 5 minutes' walk to the sea. We appreciated the availability of tea and coffee and milk-especially good for late night arrivals, and other essentials.
It was an ideal place to stay and relax.”

“Very nice apartment - we've stayed there three times. Very good for small children, as the terrace area is securely gated. The new supermarket just across the road makes the location even better.
El cotillo is a quiet fishing village. Just to the north are the lagoons - beautiful, clean beaches and great for swimming. There are also great surfing beaches on the doorstep. There's a variety of restaurants, all within easy walking distance.”
