About Isla Canela, Costa de la Luz

Sitting neatly in the southwestern corner of the Huelva province is Isla Canela. This is one of the most popular resorts along this stretch of coastline, both with English and Spanish holidaymakers. Whilst it can be busy, it’s not to be compared with some of the other livelier resorts.

The local fishermen are in the waters daily catching tuna and sardines, which by the end of the day are served in many of the waterfront restaurants. However before indulging in some culinary delights, you may wish to relax on the wide, sandy beach and watch the world go by. Alternatively there are golf courses in the area if you choose to improve your handicap.

It is a fantastic region for enjoying sun, beach, sailing, golf, cycling, culture and scenic nature reserves and bird sanctuaries.

The Isla Canela resort comprises of a Golf course, vast fine sandy beaches, a modern leisure marina, luxury hotels, small commercial centres, restaurants, bars ands cafes.
