Beautiful three bedroom villa situated in semi rural residential area, in Pinar de los Franceses, close to the traditional spanish town of Chiclana de la Frontera. The area is quiet, without being isolated, with the houses being spaced well apart.
The villa is nicely decorated with two fully tiled bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen with granite worktops. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes, two of the bedrooms have twin single beds and the main bedroom has a double bed.
The living room looks over the pool and has a television, DVD player, selection of DVD and CD discs, two sofas and a dining table with chairs.
Within a five minute drive is the large supermarket Eroski, and a couple more minutes drive takes you to restaurants and shops. There are a handful of rural bars and restaurants on the drive down the hill to Eroski. Short drive (10-15 minutes) from Barrosa Beach which is an endless sandy beach onto the Atlantic. Costa de la Luz (Coast of light).
Washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, iron and ironing board, kettle, dish washer, hairdryer all provided in addition to plates, glasses, pans, utensils etc. Bath towels are also provided.
Outside is a pretty landscaped garden with a private swimming pool, barbecue and outdoor furniture including sun loungers, tableand chairs under covered pagola on the patio outside the kitchen and some beach toys. There is parking space for 2-3 cars if required. There is a private swimming pool which has underwater lighting.
The villa is not overlooked, one side of the grounds is a high wall, one side over a field and another side over a field of Orange trees. The fourth side (entrance) is walled with a 6 foot double gate which is lockable and has an intercom. The garden is fully enclosed and very secure, although the crime rate in this area is very low.

Please note that we do require a security deposit of £200 which is fully refundable, within a few days of your departure. To date we have been very lucky with our clients and have not had cause to charge for any damages or other losses from our villa.
Chiclana has the perfect climate, the heat of summer is offset by cooling Atlantic breezes and the winters are generally warm and sunny. With over 3,400 hours of sunshine a year, its coastline and facilities make it a top quality location for year round sports and leisure activities. Indeed the Spanish themselves favour this holiday destination.
The Atlantic coast here, has sea warmed by the Gulf Stream, so it is pleasant to swim in all year round. Being tidal, the beaches are fresh & clean, and La Barrosa holds the prestigious Blue Flag award.
This area of Spain retains a traditional feel and is popular with Spanish holidaymakers.
The area is fantastic for sporting activities such as golf, horse riding and watersport and visit the marine mammel research centre just over an hour away in Tarifa on the southernmost tip of Spain. Dophins and whales are guarenteed should you decide on one of the many boat trips from this town.
Tarifa - around one and a half hour drive, very pretty town on the southernmost tip of Spain, has a number of sea mammel research centres and boat excursions as this area between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean is one of the most prolific in the world for Dolphins and Whales.
Seville - an hour and a half by road, less by train from Chiclana.
Jerez - for Sherry tasting and wonderful places to eat. Also see the Andalucian horses in public dressage shows twice a week (Tues and Thurs)
Cadiz - 20 minute drive, steeped in history, the oldest city in Europe. Also has a waterpark.
There are numerous golf courses within a 20 minute drive, beautiful little spanish villages, and a wonderful coast line onto the Atlantic, which has huge sandy beaches.
Horse riding particularly recommended, as the horses you can hire are of superior quality.
Our property is family owned since 2005 when it was built. The primary owner is Jean Parker who is retired and lives in Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire. I am Sue Doughtie and I am Jean's daughter and I live in Cheshire. We looked at a large number of properties before deciding to buy Casa Feliz. What we loved about it was the fact that it was so secluded, with no other houses over looking the garden area. We also loved the fact that there was the space to put in a swimming pool and that we could park on the property and close the gate behind us!
We love this area of Spain, it seems to get the best weather, very sunny nearly all year but the nearby coast is onto the Atlantic and in summer there is a breeze, it is not as humid as the mediterranean coast. We also love that tradition and culture is still so prevelant in this area, with the cities of Cadiz, Jerez and Seville within easy driving distances. The hills are a joy to walk in and the beach is fantastic. It is not Benidorm, and you wont get Harrys Bar and chip shops on every corner, but the drinks are huge, the food is wonderful as is the golf, the horse riding and the sight seeing. This is one of four villas, all built in 2004/05, two of the others are owned by Spanish families and the fourth is another owner who rents it out. We try to go several times a year just to unwind and each time we enjoy it more!
