About the property

This large apartment is situated in one of the most highly sought after parts of Guardamar, just 200 metres from a glorious sandy beach.

The sitting/dining room area opens through large doors onto a nice sized terrace with sea views to the left. The main bedroom is a double with ensuite bathroom and a small balcony (this balcony is a great place from which to view the frequent firework displays in Guardamar at fiesta time).

The second bedroom is furnished with a single cabin bed that houses a second full-size bed underneath. The room will be set up in advance for your holiday as a single or twin depending on your requirement. The third bedroom is a single.

The apartment comes with a dishwasher, microwave oven, washing machine and fridge freezer. There is air conditioning in the main sitting room and the master bedroom, and ceiling fans in the other two bedrooms.

About Guardamar del Segura, Costa Blanca

A small Spanish town located next to the mouth of the River Segura and overlooking a large expanse of sand dunes with an abundance of pines and eucalyptus. An attractive feature of the local environment is the Reina Sofía Park where the pine groves have been enhanced with lakes, ponds, botanical routes, and the wildlife make it well worth visiting.

The town centre has a wide variety of shops, be it small gift shops or the supermarket and every Wednesday is market day. Restaurants and bars are plentiful with a choice of food and wine to suit most tastes and pockets. Fiestas are an important part of life in Guardamar and the atmosphere provided by the locals is something to remember. The Moors & Christians Fiesta held during the last week in July is quite spectacular with wonderful costumes, and culminates with a fantastic firework display from the beach.

Guardamar del Segura is a bustling holiday destination beloved of Spanish families for many generations. Over the last decade, as word of its 14 kilometres of unspoilt beach and great holiday facilities spread, Guardamar has begun to attract non-Spanish holiday makers in larger numbers, while retaining its essential Spanish character.

Playa Moncayo is one of the best beaches in the area, located at the southern tip of Guardamar.

The area surrounding Guardamar offers lots to do for families - karting, waterpark, markets, beach & swimming pool, horse-riding. A little further afield will take you to the theme park at Terra Mitica and the wonderful waterfalls of Fuentes del Algar.
