About the property

This luxury 3 bedroom air conditioned penthouse apartment at Alhaurin Golf and Country Club has been tastefully and comfortably furnished to a very high standard with no expense being spared by it's owners to ensure the comfort and convenience of their guests. It has wonderful panoramic views across Alhaurin golf course and is conveniently situated close to the lovely pool and gardens.

The large living/dining room has ample comfortable seating and a solid wood dining table with unusual high backed cane chairs. Patio doors lead out onto the big terrace from where you can take in the beautif ul views. This is very well equipped with patio furniture, sunbeds and a BBQ. There is a piano in the living room for the musically inclined along with satelite TV, video, DVD player and a music centre. The owners have thoughtfully supplied an excellent selection of videos, DVDs and CDs and books for their guests. There is also an open fire which makes it very cosy for a winter holiday

The apartment has 3 twin bedrooms, two of which have patio doors with access to the terrace and their own bath or shower room. In addition to which there is a third bathroom. All the bedrooms, as you would expect in an apartment of such high standard, have ample storage space.

As with the rest of the apartment the kitchen is very well equipped and has a dishwasher, washing machine, hob and oven, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster etc. It even has a juicer and food proccessor. Indeed I think it is unlikely that you will want for anything in this excellent apartment. A breakfast table is set into a lovely bay window in the kitchen.

Stairs lead from the hallway upto a landing where there is a computer with broadband internet connection, and from there a door takes you out onto the enormous roof terrace. This has a shaded area and a full set of teak patio furniture.

The apartment also has the benefit of secure underground parking with a lift straight to the front door. Very close by is a wonderful swimming pool set in a tropical garden for which you will have the key. Also located there is a mini gym and sauna.

Low season- Oct - April (ex. Christmas and Easter) £300.

Mid season- May, June, Sept, Christmas and Easter £400.

High season - July and August £500.

Change over day is flexible.

50% deposit secures with the balance 6 weeks before the start of your holiday.

About Alhaurin el Grande, Inland Andalucia

Located elegantly upon a hill within the Sierra de Mijas, surrounded by fruitful orchards including oranges and lemons. The "El Grande" part in the name was added to differentiate it from Alhaurin de Torre.

There is a maze of cobbled streets to explore, with restaurants serving local traditional foods that you may not of heard of before. If you visit Alhaurin el Grande at the beginning of the year you can't fail to miss the carnival. However other festivals and celebrations are held throughout the year that includes cheering bulls through the streets, so watch out!

Alhaurin Golf and Country Club is a unique club, in that it has three golf courses -- an 18 hole par 72 course designed by Seve Ballesteros, a nine hole par 3 course bordering a beautiful lake, and an 18 hole junior course (adults may play only when accompanied by a child.) The par 72 course is of international quality with challenging holes, lush green fairways and greens set amongst pine woods. Situated between Mijas and Coín in the Sierra de Mijas, this course has majestic views of mountains to the north and Africa and the Mediterranean to the south.

Guests at this Alhaurin Golf apartment benefit from a 20% discount on green fees and 10% discount in the Golf Shop.

Alhaurin Golf is situated roughly midway between the towns of Coin and Alhaurin el Grande and just 15kms. from the Costa del Sol so you have an excellent choice of shops, bars, restaurants and beaches etc. all within easy reach. It is about 30 minutes from Malaga airport.

About us

My name is Ruth Polak and I live with my family near to the village of Casares in the mountains of Andalucia. We bought a run down Finca of 30,000 sq m. of land in 1992 and my husband, being a builder, renovated and built the house up.

I began renting an apartment on our Finca and our house in the village of Casares about 6 years ago and since then I have taken on other peoples villas and apartments to rent for them.

I thoroughly enjoy helping people to organize their holidays and using my knowledge of the area to help them to get the most out of their holiday on the Costa del Sol. I also work closely with my owners to ensure that their properties offer holiday makers good quality accommodation at reasonable prices.
