About the property

This warm and comfortable studio apartment is perfect for your skiing of snow boarding trip to the Sierra Nevada, Spain. It offers quality accommodation for up to 4 guests.

The modern open plan living area comprises a lounge, dining area and well equipped kitchen. There is a flat screen TV with a good selection of terrestrial channels and large picture windows give fabulous views over the resort and mountains.

The big sofa bed is easily converted at the end of the day into a very comfortable double bed. Further sleeping accommodation comprises of 2 fold away bunk beds in the passage way adjacent to the bathroom. This is fully tiled and has a full bath with shower over, a toilet, bidet and hand basin.

The kitchen area is equipped with a hob, microwave, fridge, coffee percolator, toaster and plenty of pots, pans, crockery and glassware etc.

The stylish round dining table is extendible and there is seating for 6 guests.

All the furnishings and fittings are of an elegant and modern design and combine to make this an ideal base for a trip to the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort.

The underfloor heating is very efficient and ensures a warm and pleasant stay no matter the weather.

In addition the apartment has the benefit of its own secure underground parking which is a great plus in this area where parking is often a costly problem.A lift takes you straight to the apartment front door.

There is also a WiFi internet connection in the reception area, a password will be supplied on arrival if required.

About Granada, Inland Andalucia

Venturing into the city of Granada itself, you will see how the area is dominated by the La Alhambra, the palace built by the Moors. It stands at the top of the Sabika Hill, the highest point in the city. A visit here may take the best part of a day, giving you plenty of time to take in the splendour of the architecture.

However Granada has plenty more to offer, the main shopping area can be found in the city centre, here you will find a mix of modern clothes shops along with shops selling traditional Granada crafts, such as pottery and inlaid wood. There is a good choice of café's and bars as well as restaurants.

The Ski Resort of the Sierra Nevada has been purpose built to provide an excellent base from which to enjoy all manner of sports in the surrounding mountains.Here you can buy your ski passes and access a variety of different ski lifts to the various ski stations throughout the mountains. The modern apartment block of Monte Oiz 2, where this apartment is found is located up the hill, a very pleasant 10 minute walk away from its main plaza.

The resort is well endowed with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants,equipment hire shops etc. so when not skiing or snow boarding there is plenty to keep you occupied. You can either get to the town via the winding road, the various stairways or by the easier option of the nearby ski lift.The slightly elevated position of this ski apartment gives it the advantage of the most marvellous views over the town and mountains and the benefit of being able to enjoy spectacular sun sets.

The historic and beautiful City of Granada is a short drive away and here you can visit the famous Alhambra Palace or enjoy exploring the old part of the city with its interesting shops and delightful bars and restaurants. Granada airport is less than an hour away and now has plenty of budget priced flights landing there.

About us

My name is Ruth Polak and I live with my family near to the village of Casares in the mountains of Andalucia. We bought a run down Finca of 30,000 sq m. of land in 1992 and my husband, being a builder, renovated and built the house up.

I began renting an apartment on our Finca and our house in the village of Casares about 6 years ago and since then I have taken on other peoples villas and apartments to rent for them.

I thoroughly enjoy helping people to organize their holidays and using my knowledge of the area to help them to get the most out of their holiday on the Costa del Sol. I also work closely with my owners to ensure that their properties offer holiday makers good quality accommodation at reasonable prices.
